Q: What happens if I don't fit a genuine ZF Parts oil filter?
A: We always recommend fitting genuine ZF products. Genuine ZF Parts oil filters are produced to the same quality as ZF transmission units. They are designed to accurately meet the high flow and pressure requirements of the transmission. Using a genuine filter will help to keep your vehicle on the road and to perform in a consistently economic manner.
Tests on "copy-parts" have shown that they are often unable to match the capacity and cleaning ability of the genuine article, including a superior by pass valve integrated into select filters.

What can happen if you choose a copy part?

bulletTransmission wear increases
bulletPerformance is reduced
bulletContamination levels increase
bulletTransmission life is reduced
bulletRisk of major failure with resulting downtime
bulletZF Warranty no longer applies

Remember! The vehicle manufacturer fits the genuine part - shouldn't you?!

Q: Must I use only Genuine ZF Parts?
A: Genuine ZF Parts are produced to the same high quality as ZF transmission units and this helps keep your vehicle on the road, upholds its value, and, by no means least, helps it perform in a consistently economical manner.
This is why we cannot accept anything less than the specified material quality and production tolerances. To do so would adversely affect the operation and service life of your transmission, and most important of all - our warranty does not apply!

It is often seemingly minor differences that have a critical effect on the service life of a component.

Q: Which oil filter should I use with transmission type WG 180/181/200/201?
A: For the "Ergopower" WG 110/130/160/190/210 transmission range there are two types of oil filter available; with and without a bypass valve. For the "Ergopower" WG 110/130/160/190/210 transmission range there are two types of oil filter available; with and without a bypass valve. It is important that the correct filter is used according to the transmission specification.
